BENEFITS & DESCRIPTION
Duct tape, originally developed as a water-resistant sealing tape for ammunition cases, uses a rubber-based adhesive to help the tape resist water and a fabric backing to add strength. Because of these properties, it was also used to repair military equipment quickly, including jeeps, firearms, and aircraft.
Today, the number of uses is limited only by your imagination. Great for constructing emergency shelter and effecting emergency repairs. Recommended use with the ER™ EMERGENCY READY Nylon Cord, Tarps, and ER™ Plastic Sheeting.
Its low cost and multi-purpose uses makes it an essential emergency preparedness item. In a terrorist attack or when the air is not safe for breathing, it is recommended for use with the ER™ Shelter-in-Place Plastic Sheeting to seal windows and doors from intrusion of contaminated air.
