55-GALLON WATER STORAGE BUNDLE DESCRIPTION

FEMA and the Red Cross recommend homeowners store a minimum supply of 1 gallon of emergency water per person. This supply of emergency water can be used for washing, bathing, drinking, and cooking following a disaster and subsequent shortage of potable water.

The 55-Gallon Water Storage Barrel and accessories provide a convenient and reliable source of treated water for emergencies. The strategic coloring of the drum is designed to block bacteria-growing UV rays ensuring the safe storage of water outside the home, school, or office. When treated with Water Preserver® Concentrate, water is guaranteed to store safely outdoors for up to 5-years. To ensure the integrity of your water supply, secure the Tamper Evident Cap to the water barrel’s seal - the tamper-evident strip must be pulled off leaving a visible indicator that the drum has been breached. Use the included bung wrench and siphon pump to easily access your water supply.
 
Aquamira® Water Treatment

The sturdy Bung Wrench provides a convenient way to open water storage barrels. It fits perfectly with all sizes of storage drums and works as an emergency gas shutoff wrench.
Siphon Pump
The Siphon Pump provides an easy and efficient way to drain and transfer water from a 55-Gallon Water Storage Barrel. It is designed to fit any 55-Gallon Water Storage Drum with one-and one-half inch or two-inch openings. The powerful pump provides a 5-gallon per minute flow rate and can be an indispensable tool for a variety of survival needs.
